I visited Real del Castillo Viejo, an incredible 1800s Gold Rush town in Baja California, Mexico, and learned so much about its fascinating history. Gold was discovered here in 1870 by Manuel del Castillo, sparking a mining boom that quickly brought around 1,500 people to the area.
